To Migrate or Not To Migrate?
Recently the private countries or islands has been released to public for additional feel and experience to this addictive world of GoldenTowns. As expected Killam owned a lot of them since it has been confirmed before that there was a direct transaction between the Anno1777 Labs amd a group of investors that interested to invest owning a private countries. Actually, it made quiet a debate on the official forum of GoldenTowns that other players said that it was unfair that the most private countries has already been sold before it was even released to public for bidding. Well, it is all about business and Anno1777 Labs reserve all the rights on how they will do their business operation and transaction. Anyway, I think it is good for the economy of this game that our developer made profit immediately.
As you can see, joining or migrating to private country is too easy and doesn't require anything. All you have to do is click the "Get Citizenship" button and in an instant you are already part of that country. I'm not sure if it will stay the same in the future because of its lucrative offer like protection and compensation depending on the terms of the island owner.
ADVANTAGES:
1. Citizen protection against foreign attacks.
2. Non aggression pact between fellow citizens.
3. In case you get occupied before the island owner defended your towns, then you will be compensated for the tax you paid to your attacker.
4. Various bonuses and incentives like Level Up Bonus or anything that the state can afford.
Joining or migrating to private island is very practical especially if you are a newbie that doesn't want to be bother by aggressive players. It has a very well organized dictatorial type government that ensure fast decision making. Its citizens are law abiding and you will be safe that no one will stab you while your too busy developing your towns.
