Summoners War Guide Beginner - Fighter 3

This is Summoners War power leveling guide for beginner or spoon feeding tutorial to level up and improve your Arena ranking based on my 7 months experienced of playing, so you will not suffer and waste your time for your future mistakes. Summoners War is a very addictive long term game if you can manage to grasp its gameplay or metagame as soon as possible.

0. BUY devilmon weekly! if you have 180 Glory Points (GP)

1. At the beginning of the game you have Water fairy, vagabond and fire hellhound.

NOTE: Fire Hellhound (Sieq) is a situational 6* upgrade candidate due to insane damage of double bite 10k+ per hit or a total of 20k+ damage at level 40. Also it is a great buffer for attack and critical rate. Again, situational only and you don't have to force yourself to upgrade him to 6*.

Water Fairy & Wind Vagabond are only 4* or 5* upgrade candidate. Instead of using water fairy, you should get the Light Fairy that has an invincibility skill by

tapping Community>>Friend>>Invite Friend. You only need to send invite and it doesn't matter your if your friend ignore it. Maximum of 20 invites per day only.

5 invites = 10 000 mana
10 invites = 100 energy
30 invites = 100 crystals (save it to accumulate 750 crystals for your first premium pack )
50 invites = light fairy monster candidate for 5* upgrade

Light Fairy will be your temporary support healer while you are waiting for your Light Inugami (Belladeon).

PRIORITY:

5* (6* situational) Fire Inugami (Raoq) carry/farmer monster. This will be your bread and butter for power leveling at early stage and he's also a decent monster in Arena Offense (AO). Your progress will increase exponentially once you levelled him at 5* level 35.

          6* light vagabond (Darion) great tank & nuker (guardian tier)
          5* (6* situational) wind pixie (Shannon)
          5* wind griffon (6* situational) (Bernard)

          ***Light Bearman (Ahman) is very tempting but it is an overrated and over hyped monster. You need premium violent runes to get a 4k HP heal per hit that can take months of farming. Light Inugami (Belladeon) is far superior due to its utility skills unless you get lucky and able to pull off formidable monster like Chloe, Archangels etc. that can do better job than the these monsters. You must have a priority or objective so you will not get bored or quit on this game. 

2. Log in everyday for the daily wish and other rewards especially the monthly reward of light/dark scroll. Also please participate to game events because it is a good source of crystals, mana and mystical scrolls etc.

 Complete Daily Missions for rewards

    Use 20 Energy – Reward: 3 crystals and 50xp
    Power-up Monsters 3 times – Reward: 500 mana and 50xp
    Summon Monsters 3 times – Reward: 300 mana and 50xp
    Power-up Runes 3 times – Reward: 500 mana and 50xp
    Send Social Points to a Friend 5 times – Reward: 3 Arena passes and 50xp
    Fight with a Friend 3 times – Reward: 300 mana and 50xp
    Fight in the Arena 3 times – Reward: 10 energy and 50xp
    Clear the Dungeon of Giants – Reward: 750 mana and 100xp
    Clear the Daily Dungeon – Reward: 750 mana and 100xp
    Clear the Dungeon of Magic – Reward: 750 mana and 100xp
    Clear All Daily Missions – Reward: 7 crystals and 200xp

Daily Energy Bonus (Asian Server / Taiwan Time Zone)
play between 1-4 am get 20 energy
play between 3-6 pm get 20 energy

Note: Stock your free energy since it has a 6 day expiry and use it for refill in XP boosting and essence farming. Use XP boost only if you want to 6* upgrade a reliable monster. Once a month or before its reset the Trial of Ascension offers 0 energy entrance and you should take advantage it because it has a good reward.

3. Keep hoarding those crystals until it reach 750 for premium pack. You can also hoard those mystical scrolls reward from event, missions etc. Hoard mana for future rune upgrade & rune buying at magic shop (246 slot with %) buy 135 slot violent rune either 5* or 6* (5* rune buying is only worth it for violent runes due to scarcity)

Note: This is an RNG (random number game) concept, so it means that we have no control on what kind of monster we can get from summoning. The reality about these monsters, most of them are for decoration only. We have meta monsters where they thrive in both arena offense or defense and most of them are natural 5* (NAT5) monsters like Archangels, Phoenix, Dragons etc.

This is it! BUY your first premium pack and pray to RNGesus that he will grant you a formidable monster. Let say, out of 11 MS (mystical scroll) you manage to get 2 pieces of NAT4 then the next question is, who are they and what kind of element they are?

Wind element is a great offense in mid game offense but mediocre defense.
Water element is a weak defense but great offense in end game (due to fire defense).
Fire element is a great defense and it has also powerful offense like Fire Hell Lady (Raki).

Worse case scenenario, you get all fodder monsters from mystical scroll (MS), then try to pick those fusion material for Dark Ifrit (Veromos) and Water Phoenix (Sigmarus). Please don't lose hope if you are unlucky with your summoning because com2us is very generous for offering Hall of Heroes that feature a farmable NAT4 monster. Besides, you must focus on 6* upgrade for your Belladeon and Darion.

4. At this moment, your arena offense is also your arena defense. Don't think on going to Conqueror 1 without beating the Faimon Hell mode and Giant B10 because Conqueror 1 is a land of 6* monsters with 6* rune +15. This stage is in favor of speed team but I am running a sustain tank revive as my arena defense. I guess from time to time the meta game is getting busted by update & patches.

5. Once you get Wind Pixie (Shannon) from unknown scroll (US) or Wind Griffon (Bernard) try to level it up to 5* because you may need it later on dungeons, tower of ascension (TOA), giants, dragons and arena offense/defense.

6. Keep on grinding by unlocking different hell mode scenario dungeons, hall of light/dark/fire/water/wind, giants and dragons.

Light & Dark dungeon level 6, elemental dungeon level 6 (this is good for beginner), hell mode scenario for 3* rune (+6 or +9 upgrade only) guardian light & dark dungeon level 6 for better essence drop & energy ratio.

7. Now comes with Sunday and I call it as social day because this is where the light dungeon opens and almost everyone are looking or begging for Light Inugami and Light Vagabond. Try to hunt this secret dungeon once you can clear them with ease. Request politely by mentioning the name of player and add him/her immediately to your friend request. With luck you can get your light inugami and vagabond in no time which is almost as good as a NAT4 monster. Once you have your Belladeon or Darion and you don't have a formidable monster then concentrate on 6* upgrade them by buying XP boost (3 days recommended if you have time to spare) and energy refill.


WARNING!: not all monster are candidate for 6* upgrade even though they are NAT4 (natural 4*) monster. Do not 6* upgrade a monster that cannot help you in giant or dragon dungeons, TOA and put you to at least Conqueror 1 rank.

This team composition for Free to Play (F2P) can easily hold Fighter 3 rank weekly

CONCLUSION:

Have fun and grasp the game mechanics or metagame as soon as possible to fully enjoy its greatness. List all your objectives and try to accomplish it Weekly. Be sociable and have fun making new friends in the chat channel or forum. Don't lose hope or quit if you cannot get your first NAT4 or NAT5 from summoning. Just keep on summoning! :D
