At this stage, you should concentrate on Giant B10 farming so it means that upgrading wind element monster for your giant team is a must especially for F2P (free to play) players. Using Darion, Belladeon, Bernard, Shannon and Wind Viking can at least farm you on Giant B10. All these monster are farmable and upgrading their skills won't be that hard. There are also a lot of team composition in Giant B10 so it all depends on your available monster but we prefer wind element for elemenetal advantage against the Giant Boss.

My Giant B10 team full auto: 6* Acasis leader, 6* Briand, 6* Shannon, 6* Belladeon & 5* Bernard with 95% success rate.

as a part of this giant stage, your runes must be at least 5* with preferably +15 on 246 slots.

I. RUNING

Where to get 5* & 6* runes?

Magic Shop is your best bet on getting this rare runes and try to unlock those additional slots so when it refresh the inventory you have a higher chance of getting 5* or 6* quality. Concentrate on getting a 246 slots with HP% and a couple of Accuracy% because you need these in Giant B10. The key on beating the Giant is having higher HP at least 20k and a reliable Accuracy to land your attack debuff like glancing, defense and attack break against the giant.

You must land a debuff on giant because a solid area of attack (AOE) from giant can easily wipe out your entire team. I guess attack break can lessen the damage by 50% in addition to glancing which avoid you from critical hit. Having a defense buff I guess it can get you additional 50% defense in addition to 15% damage reduction from Darion passive Knighthood. All in all I think it is as good as a 75% damage reduction that your team may receive.

How to buy runes?

As of now, buy only 5* or 6* with HP% or Defense% and Accuracy% on 246 slots from Energy, Swift, Despair, & Focus runes. You may also get HP% & Accuracy% from other runes but it can ruin your Energy set since a 15% additional HP can improve your survival rate.

A 5* rune can range from 120k - 230k mana depending on the quality and type. While 6* rune can range from 230k - 500k so you need to hoard a lot of mana. Energy rune is cheaper and Despair rune is a bit expensive.

NOTE: Once in a while there is a mystical scroll that will pop up in magic shop that has a price around 120k mana price. BUY it automatically because it is worth every penny.


MANA

How to save mana?

DO NOT upgrade your 3* rune more than +9 because there is a little improvement on it. Rune upgrade is very expensive so make sure that you upgrade only the rune that you will use for a long period of time.

How to get or farm mana?

Faimon scenario is the most popular place to farm due to higher mana and XP rate. Faimon normal can get you an average mana 3500 per run (sold rune included) in addition to an average 1 energy drop per run. My full 73 energy + random energy drop can make around 100k mana

5* level 35 Raoq with 246 atk% +12 can easily farm this stage under 60 seconds.
My 6* level 40 Raoq with decent attack runes can farm this around 27 seconds.

You can also use other scenario dungeon where your carry/farm monster can clear it easily. For example, Lushen can solo and finish Hydeni Hell level 5 (Damnation) quickly because the monsters are water type element..

Who is carry/farm monster?

This monster is great for clearing enemy waves like Lushen, Zaiross or any other AOE with high damage output. Raoq is also a great farmer due to its passive skill "Annihilate" where he gets another turn after he killed the enemy. Right now, I am using Water Hell Lady (Beth) as my farmer in Faimon Hard level 1 (Path) and it can finish it around 50 seconds due to her 2nd skill AOE. It is not fully skilled yet but have a quiet decent Rage Blade runes with (2)atk% (4)critdmg% (6)atk% these slots are +15.

Secret dungeon 2* monster is one of the best place to farm mana since for 3 energy it can give you a 4k - 5k mana per run but the downside is its very low XP rate. My 73 max energy can make around 100k mana in 24 rounds. Secret dungeon 3* gives higher amount of mana but with a 5 energy per run. Another way to obtain it is from event rewards and it may range from 100k - 300k mana.


II. Beating The Giant

Poor man's build in early game is HP% HP% Accuracy% on support if  you don't have a 6* (4)HP% with +15 to buff your HP pool at least 15-20k.

The HP% slot should be 6* +15 because you will sacrifice another HP slot for tactical advantage either speed or accuracy runes."

Bernard has a Leader Skill (Increases the Attack Power of ally monsters with Wind attribute by 30%) that will be benefited by Shannon and Walter. His 3rd skill Tailwind will boost your team speed for 2 turns and attack bar that will result to more turn before the enemy can move. His 2nd skill Body Slam is both attack and defense break that will lessen the giant attack by 50% and increase the damage he(giant) will receive by  50%.

Shannon 3rd skill Pep Talk will increase your team attack and defense for 3 turns, 50% defense increase is as good as 50% HP increase. Her 2nd skill is Decelerate that will reduce the giant speed by 33% in addition to the fact that the giant is already a slow monster. Her 1st skill Spirit Ball is a glancing debuff that will save you from critical hit and most important it will void the skill effect of giant. All of her skills are extremely useful and designed to kill Bosses on this game.

Walter will be your killer because of his continuous damage skills. 3rd skill Firing Axe: Throws 5 axes randomly. Each attack has a 30% chance to inflict Continuous Damage for 3 turns, this is a hit or miss damage over time (DOT) due to randomness but it can do its job and the 1st skill is Throwing Axe that also inflicts DOT or continuous damage to 3 turns. Applying DOT to giant is your best bet to defeat it due to its massive HP. It will take away 5% HP per DOT applied while ignoring its defense.

Belladeon will be your healer and buff remover on target. Its 3rd skill can fill the attack bar of all allies by 30% and recovers their HP by 30%. This is one of the best AOE heal in the game. Its 2nd skill Seize can remove buff or beneficial effect on target. Very useful in removing attack increase buff on giant. Its 1st skill is Scratch that can apply defense break on target.

Darion will serve as your damage absorber due to his passive 3rd skill Knighthood that has 15% damage reduction when your ally is attack. It is also as good as a 50% HP leadership for your team.
He is also the one that will take the counter attack of giant every 7 consecutive damage it receive.

How to fight against Giant Boss?

Since this is done manually, before you proceed to giant boss make sure that all your 3rd skill are ready to use like Bernard's Tailwind, Shannon's Pep Talk, Belladeon's Mobilize and Walter's Firing Axe so you can use it against the giant as soon as possible. Attack only the giant when you want to land a debuff like glancing, body slam(defense & attack break) , decelerate and DOT's from Walter or else just attack the left tower. You do not need to attack the giant if it is full on debuff to delay its counter attack except for spamming DOT. When the giant already received 6 hits, then use Darion to hit him to receive the counter attack since he can take a beating but I'm hoping that he has no defense debuff. You must spam Bernard's Tailwind whenever it's ready to move fast and gain extra turn and also the same with Shannon's Pep Talk. Glancing debuff is more useful than Decelerate/slow so prioritize to land it first. Use Belladeon to remove the giant attack increase buff without exposing him to counter attack hit. Just keep doing it repeatedly and with a better odds you can beat the giant. I think on this set up you have an 80% chance of success.

III. Power Leveling Guide

Getting your first 6* monster is very difficult if you don't know the basic concept of power leveling. I think it took me 3 weeks to evolve my first 6* fire vampire (Verdehile) which is not an ideal monster for beginner because his not a carry for fodder leveling.

1. In power leveling, you must have a carry monster for example fire inugami (Raoq) because he is farmable and a beast for NAT3. Make sure he is 5* level 35 to effectively use his passive skill.

2. Save fodder monster or unknown scrolls (US) at least 300 to be used as evolution material.

3. It is recommended to buy 3 days XP boost worth 200 crystals only if you have a decent number of unknown scrolls and have a spare time to play within this duration. 3 days XP boost (200 crystals) is way better than 1 day xp boost (100 crystals). Buy 1 day xp boost if you are busy with your schedule, anyway this is only a game or a past time activity.

4. Choose the best scenario dungeon for your carry monster (Raoq) and grind at hard/hell mode if you cannot do the Faimon normal yet.

alternative for Faimon normal:

Tamor Desert (hard/hell mode) level 3(North) for Raoq this is the easiest level and have an occasional drop of Wind Griffon which is viable for the skill upgrade of your Bernard.

NOTE:
Tamor Desert (hell mode) has almost the same xp and mana rate return to Faimon Normal. Because in faimon, there is an average 1 energy return, higher xp, mana due to expensive price of violent runes when sold, fodder drop and unknown scroll drop. 


CONCLUSION:

Concentrate on building your first carry/farmer because it is your progress booster. Then proceed to getting your giant team as soon as possible depending on your available monster. Use the game economics to properly spend your mana & crystals while evolving your monster to 6*.
